Important INFO ℹ️:
the test works only on https://website-git-stripe-api-tech-start.vercel.app
To add a new item, you would need to create a new product in the Stripe account product catalogue, and then update the lib/data/MerchData to include the corresponding priceId (e.g., price_xxxxxxxxx).
Currently, there doesn’t seem to be a way to capture the user’s full name (as opposed to just the name on the card) unless I integrate a custom form that collects that information and passes it to the Stripe API. However, I believe that collecting the user’s email is sufficient, considering that only a few people make purchases. We can then send them an email instructing them to pick up their item at TechStart.
I can also make the stripe payment an iframe or a popup if need be rather than a redirect ig
lastly, I have NOT tested this with real money, I kinda want to wait till Aarsh gets the TechStart Stripe account login info to test that
