TaskBoard card is moved even if the server returns an error

Bug report

When a card in the TaskBoard is moved if the server returns an error the move could not be prevented. Thus, the card is rendered in the new position.

Reproduction of the problem

1. Open the examples:

• https://dojo.telerik.com/PxTUPRmP
• https://dojo.telerik.com/BmaXWXwE

2. Move a card to a different column.

Current behavior

Although the server returns an error the card is moved to the new column.

Expected/desired behavior

Moving the card should be prevented when there is an error.

Environment

• Kendo UI version: 2025.2.520
• Browser: all

This represents expected behavior rather than a bug. The UI functions correctly by moving the card to the intended position. For scenarios where server requests fail, developers should implement error handling using the TaskBoard's dataSource error event to manage failures according to their application's requirements.
