Spreadsheet DropDown button does not register a click all the time

Bug report

The dropdownlist button in the spreadsheet cells does not register a click action every time.

Reproduction of the problem

Open the overview demo:
https://demos.telerik.com/kendo-ui/spreadsheet/index

Create a list validation on an empty cell:
Click on a cell -> Go to Data -> Data Validation -> Select List as the criteria and set some values:

Click on dropdown near the icon itself. The dropdown will expand.

Try to click near one of the corners:

Current

When you click on the icon, the list will be expanded.
When you click near the corner of the button, the list won't be expanded.

Expected

The list must be expanded regardless of where you click.
