Save button remain disabled in Grid popup editor

Bug report

When a custom validation is triggered or the server returns a 400 error, the Save button in the Grid Popup Editor becomes disabled and does not get re-enabled afterward.

Reproduction of the problem

1. Open the pop-up editor by clicking "+ Add" in the Grid in the Dojo linked here - https://dojo.telerik.com/kBYakfiV
2. Leave a required fields empty and click Save.
3. A custom validation alert will appear.
4. Notice that the Save button becomes disabled. Enter a valid data in the field.

Current behavior

The Save button becomes disabled after a custom validation failure or 400 error and cannot be re-enabled.

Expected/desired behavior

The Save button should remain on or automatically re-enable after a few milliseconds.

Hello Telerik,

Yes, this scenario is related to #8309

But that scenario is already closed and marked as fixed. Changing the kendo version to 2025.3.1002 in DoJo for scenario 8309 will unlock the button. Because of this, I reworked the scenario for the new issue. When do you think this problem might be resolved?

You are referring to the issue #8309 , but we noticed that it is closed.

Additionally, it was marked as completed, but then removed from the next release.

This is not a minor inconvenience, but a critical block of the usability of our application. Our users regularly work with complex forms containing 10-15 inputs, and it becomes very difficult to fill them out if you skip any field.

While we understand that release planning is a difficult task, this issue significantly impairs user interaction with the main web forms.

We kindly ask you to prioritize this fix and include it in the next release.
Could you confirm if this is possible and specify the expected time frame?

Issue #8309 is closed as its scenario was fixed with version 2025.3.1002 - https://dojo.telerik.com/HEZkafie . We are now addressing the scenario in the current issue 8384 and it may be tracked for status update.
