It is hard to say what the damage to your probe caused. If it applied reverse voltage to the probe input, that might do it. It is possible to remap the inputs but, at least currently, not through the Web Builder. You will need to build the firmware yourself. If you are comfortable installing IDEs and building the software (including the needed libraries) you can modify the map file to use Door. In the Web Builder, you can get the board map which will give you a sense of what you need to change. Several other possible options:
If you want to try one of those, I can talk you through it. It's not hard but you will need to be careful not to lift traces Phil |

So I accidentally sent my 3D Touch probe full speed down into my workpiece. Needless to say the probe tip went up into the probe body. I ordered a new one and hooked it up but now the teensy isn’t receiving signal. I verified the probe is outputting signal when touched. I also jumped the sig and ground at the probe input with a jumper wire and still have no recognition. Reflashed the firmware just to see and still no change.
Is it possible that I damaged the probe circuit on the board somehow? I don’t see how that’s possible but with my track record, anything is.
Also, if I did damage the circuit, can I remap my door input or something as my probe input so I don’t have to buy a new board?
