Camera cross offset

Hey guys,

first thanks a lot to Terje for a great piece of software!
Now my question: is there any possibility to set or shift the camera
cross out of the middle? I have an offset because of a wrong parallax
of my camera mount... Thanks for an answer!
(I'm using ioSender v2.0.46)

Is the offset due to the camera mounted off center from the spindle or because it is not parallell with the spindle?
If the former then the Move offset button is for "correcting" the offset, the offset to use is set in the Settings: App tab. I usuall drill a tiny hole at X0Y0 and jog to the position where the camera sees it in the cross. In Settings: App you can click Get current position to set the offset or enter it manually. If the latter I am afraid you have to adjust the camera mount to be parallell - it can be a pain to get right...

Still works also with the 10.10 Version. Hold SHIFT Key and drag the cross in the camera window

It's also possible to set it in the configuration menu (aim position)

as I remember it was hold shift key and press right or left mouse button at the position where the cross should move

I downloaded the latest version which is 10.10.4. There is no move offset button or menu that I can find so I assume the camera has to see the tip of the tool and I have to move the cross there. My problem is that the camera field of view does not extend that far. Do I have to tilt it till it comes into view? Do you have a link to documentation explaining how to set up and use the camera?

Usualy I put a small mirror under the camera and set the cursor in the middle of the camera lens. After this you got the right parallax of the cam. 2nd step is to zero the x and y coordinate, drill a small hole with the tool and move the setted cross to this hole (this is the same procedure like you descibed before ;) In candle I have a script with "G92 X... Y... " to set the offset between camera and tool... it's a simple procedure but it works fine.
