Hello, I think that just allows those games to show up in the existing category lists. There's no Adult category to select on the main page of the site, either. If a Fantasy (or Comedy, etc.) game includes mature content, it will also be classified as Adult. So, it will show up under Fantasy, but only if the user can see Adult games. On the site, you have to make sure your birthday is on your profile, and (as you know) the desktop player just has the setting in the options (and there's also something you can do with the Windows registry to prevent Adult games from showing up, but that must be done by the user manually). Also, I assume WIP and Sandpit are omitted from the desktop browser because most users wouldn't want to download those games to play offline? (Just guessing. |

I recently made a change here, so Sandpit, WIP and Adult aren't shown, regardless of the settings. The settings are removed in the upcoming v5.9 release of Quest. There are a lot of Sandpit and WIP games, and by fetching these we were having to do a big database query and send a lot of data. Removing these makes things faster. I'm also making Adult games less visible overall. If you want to download these, or Sandpit/WIP games, you'll need to do that via the website. |

I've just redownloaded Quest, as I was getting back into text adventures, planning on making my own. However, one thing I noticed that I wasn't sure how to fix or change; I have the game browser set to show sandpit and adult games, however neither of those options appear in the dropdown, nor does work in progress games. Is there a way I am able to change this?
