Alignment of elements & text

I'm a bit sensitive when it comes to alignment of elements and text. Maybe you can consider the following recommendations. If you do not accept issues about UI please let me know.

In both images I have the current situation on the left and my recommendation to the right.

In this image there are two alignment issues.

1. Publisher is not aligned to the title & author (vertical alignment). I changed so all elements align to the right.
2. Symbol > and the author are not aligned. I changed it to center alignment.

1 & 2) The same as the previous image.
3) Alignment of the original title with the original language at the top. Changed it to bottom alignment.

I had not specifically noticed, but technically it's aligned with the chevron ('>' symbol) which has/needs padding.
I'll check.

yes, that one I know and it had bothered myself.... I had just not spend time on it.

The reason for these is likely due to the performance stuff I did for this release, in short: I simplified the internals of the layout to make it faster. (but I could be wrong, no matter)

that's a new one I had not noticed.

author alignment (the ">") is fixed in reference to fields below it.

But on the book-list, it will never align with the title, as there is a (potential) series number displayed in front of the title.

Since we are at it can I add another suggestion for consideration for the book details page as shown above? At the line:
> Author name (Author Type)
if something doesn't fit it goes to a new line bellow but it's aligned with the symbol > instead of the Author name which looks weird to me.

If you want me to create a new issue I'll gladly do it.

that's one I can't fix without redoing the whole thing. Technical: it's a list of authors (even a single one) which is split into multiple lines, each line prefixed with ">". The actual "if something doesn't fit" part is not something I do, but is done by Android depending on screen size and literally how much space is available for the data (surrounding fields, font size,...) . Far too many variables too handle. Not going to happen.

That makes sense. Thanks. I initially thought they might be two separate elements. The ">" symbol and the following text and in that case it would be fixable. But if it's a single line then yeah, can't be fixed in any logical way.

it was a trade-off to make that author-click work in all (well, most) places in the app. Slapping in multiple text fields (1 per author) was far too much overhead.
