Potential future preview viewer improvements

Things that could be implemented in the future:

• Smooth zooming for mouse/button controls
• Best fit (it fits the image to the size of the window, possibly eliminating remaining instances of moiré patterns showing up)
• Zoom to the center, or to where the mouse is pointing
• More control with zoom, ie. allow users to type a specific zoom value (something like what Loupe currently has)
• Reset zoom button (Implemented in backend, I just need to come up with a design)
• Different zoom factors for different devices (different for scroll wheel, touchpad, touchscreen, etc.)

Another idea (in case it did not cross your mind) is to have a control+scroll keybind to zoom. I keep trying to do this and remembering that I have to use control+= and control+-

You can already zoom the image by just using scroll. The ctrl+scroll keybind is for scrolling instead, as this is the behavior seen in Loupe, on which I based most of the view control code.

Holding control to scroll vertically and zooming into the top left of the image is quite janky. I agree with this:

Zoom to the center, or to where the mouse is pointing

Yes, especially if you want to zoom on a specific detail. It can get pretty annoying, as instead of zooming on a detail, it moves you away from it.
