How to keep torrent database up to date?

Hi,

About since i started my first post here it's running and crawling.
So that's about 24 hours and in that time i have ~105000 torrents.

The question is, how do i keep this database as up to date as possible and as quick as possible. Say for example when i see new torrents show up on another site, how do i make sure that my crawler also sees these new torrents within minutes?
