Please note that FFmpegKit has been discontinued.
You can find detailed information regarding this change in the following post: here

The post recommends that you build FFmpegKit locally and then utilize the generated binaries within your applications.

@tharunbirla Any plans on continuing the project? As far as i can see its (or it would be if there would be a release :D ) the only open source video editor available. Thank you for your woek :)

I am definitely working on this, balancing it with a few other side projects. You can expect an official Beta release by the end of this month.
