This mystery object appears to be north of Great Andaman Island in today’s puzzle. I’ve seen it before.

Let's see if this works. I have seen the mystery object since, also near the sought country, in a different part of the globe. It might have been a different shape. Not sure about that, but it is the same layer(s).
