No Provider for Apollo!

I've followed the steps in the migration guide where I have my app:

But when I try to inject the Apollo service in my AppComponent I get this error:

I have gone through the versions and configuration steps multiple times, have tried deleting package-lock.json and node_modules and installing everything fresh again without any luck.

Any idea on what I'm missing?
