Testing wyze V3s it seems like 22000 is a good value but I think its limited to under 20000, even the cinnado D1 is producing a color pic at 19000. Isn't hysteresis more of a time function? |

to put it simply, hysteresis is a delay in taking actions. say, you have a scene which results in gain value of 500. something cast a shadow, and the gain spikes to 4000, but the shadow is brief and the next reading is only 700, then 500 again. we put a delay on actions after reading through approximations. then, you have the extra illumination in the night mode. your threshold is set to 700, gain reaches 701 and you change the mode to night and illuminate the scene with ir projector. the scene becomes bright and gain drops to 400. be 700 the only limiter, the camera would immediately switch back to the night mode resulting in 700+ gain, hence another switch, and so on, indefinitely. so we have two limits, one for day mode, another for night mode. |

It seems that the switch to night and switch to day values should be one and the same. What am I missing?
