Night/day transition resets backlight compensation setting

I have a Wyze V3 inside the garage and in order to get a better quality image I have backlight_compensation setting set to 1. Every morning however the image is darker and I need to make a change inside the image settings page to get it to apply the backlight compensation again.

Eventually I added echo '{"image":{"backlight_compensation":1}}' | prudyntctl json - to the daynight script and it seems to resolve the issue, but this is more like a workaround and not the fix.

My wyze cams (both V2 and V3) are also struggling with night/day transitions since the recent update. Much darker image than I'm used to.
