The role of a sapper in the 27th century is only partially removed from the original meaning, that being of a combat engineer who destroyed enemy fortifications. In the last few centuries, the role of a sapper became that of a saboteur- however they don heavily advanced spacesuits and target enemy starships, using high-frequency blades and explosives to carve apart their hulls and destroy vital infrastructure. In recent times, sappers have become far less common due to the proliferation of faster than light tech, but they still may target slower vessels. Despite this, the advanced gear still finds use to this day because weapons and armor of that quality are still hard to come by.

The high frequency blade is an advanced form of an ultrasonic cutter, vibrating blades at incomprehensible speeds until the blade can split objects down to the molecular level. These weapons are commonly used by sappers and security forces who are likely to encounter thickly armored foes or in sensitive environments where a stray bullet could jeopardize everything.

An evolution of Robustelli's sporting shotguns, upgraded with the technology of the future. This shotgun takes the same 23x75mmR pulse shells as similar offerings from Apex Arms, however it uses them to greater effect by magnetically aligning and accelerating the pellets down the barrel, like their other gauss guns.
2+
Although it's been debated whether this technology is truly necessary for what is already a potent cartridge, Robustelli claims it is perfectly in line with their heritage of precision weapons.

The 'ND' is Italian for "Nuvola d'acciaio", meaning "cloud of steel", a name which Robustelli shotguns had maintained for nearly 700 years by the time of this model's release. The ND-68 was a particularly controversial upgrade as it marked the transition to the hybrid gauss-pulse design the newer ND models are known for. Before that point, the line was entirely either traditional 12-gauge, or later 23mm, shotguns with no electronic components. To appeal to the purists who opposed the newer style, Robustelli produced the SV-69, a final traditional design that continues to be produced to this day in smaller numbers.

A magnum-caliber handgun designed by Robustelli which uses linear Gauss-rails integrated into the frame; used to simulate the effect of a rifled barrel in propellant-based firearms.

Despite the appearance of having a snub nose barrel, the Gauss rails continue to propel the projectile using electromagnetic fields even after exiting the barrel. It fires .577" Gauss slugs from an 8-round box magazine.

The 'SV' is Italian for Superveloce, meaning "superfast", and is the standard naming convention for Robustelli's gauss pistol lineage. The SV 127 is a successor to the SV 109, which fired .429" rounds and was considered the black sheep of the product line- it did not have the signature reliability of a Robustelli and its styling was a significant departure from previous models as well. The 127, meanwhile, has been considered a major return to form for the SV series.

#### Tavish Standard
1316
This package, designed specially for the TASDF, matches Tavish Augmetitech's corporate colors, and comes with a uniquely-colored polycarbonate grip.

The I in 'SVI' stands for "Intelligenza", and represents its improved capability over the base Superveloce - a hardware package that allows the linear Gauss-rails to be tuned further; meaning bullets can alter course mid-flight based on user input.

Robustelli is a firearms manufacturer first established in Italy in 1873. Originally, they focused on top-of-the-line sporting rifles and shotguns, but with time they expanded their business in order to obtain lucrative contracts from militaries. In the current year, 2262, their primary focus in terms of weapons technology is all manner of Gauss guns and Railguns- both perfect for the precision shooting their brand was built upon.

The Strike Weapons Systems **IS-440** is a PDW (Personal Defense Weapon) which first released in 2252 after a grueling decade-long design process. Taking many cues from designs made over 250 years prior, they designed a capable service weapon with reliability in inhospitable environments as one of its core design principles. It has a 40 round capacity owing to its unique magazine, which sits flush with the frame of the firearm. It fires 10.9mm-diameter (.44") Pulse ammunition rounds out of a comparatively long barrel for its size, due to its bullpup configuration.
