Convert extension to AsyncPackage

Synchronous packages are now deprecated in VS2019. Conversion is not really complicated and should be relatively straight forward.
Just follow the instructions on the following page:

I start the conversion to AsyncPackage, but because my desktop died 3 months ago, I can't continue to work on it, I'm waiting for my Ryzen 3900X :).

It's available on branch async and with support of VS2022.
