Is it good and accurate to run simulation on a smaller part of interest actual PCB model ?

The automatically generated mesh grid is to too small on my actual PCB model, I think that is caused by mesh of via holes ?
That leads to very long simulation time around 20 hours.
Could I cut the PCB model into only a small part of interest , that will be simulated on ?

Why does the author of your tutorial video calculate the impedance externally in a spreadsheet, instead of writing a single line of code in the Python model?

If your simulation port in the code is "port", it's this simple:

port.CalcPort(Sim_Path, freq,ref_impedance = feed_R)
Zin = port.uf_tot / port.if_tot

Variables port.uf_tot and port.if_tot are total voltage and current, this corresponds more or less to the data files that you have evaluated in your spreadsheet. Note that values are evaluated here in frequency domain (index f means frequency), to get the frequency dependent Zin. It seems that your tutorial uses constant frequency excitation and then looks at one period in time domain (why??).
