Hello there. My children run chess-tui on laptops with text-only interfaces (i.e. they use the Ubuntu 24.04 LTS server install ttys with no graphical environment installed). But oddly enough, when you start chess-tui it fails to clear the console and the TUI is drawn upon whatever text was present on the console before.
To work around, we run clear && chess-tui.
Is there something special about how the screen is cleared that only works on graphical terminals? I've tried gnome-terminal and Ghostty and it works fine on both.
I'll try getting a screenshot later in the week to share what happens.
