[Desktop][Bug] Unhandled Issue Occured

Something I haven't seen before...

First time logging into the app after a month or so off. I'm getting a "Unhandled Issue Occured" error.

The other strange thing, not sure related, is that all the buttons (you can see in the background) are just showing the alt-text.

I reset the app, didn't fix.

I update to latest rev, still didn't fix.

Reset the app again. Still no go...

Ideas?

Changed some network settings and above issue disappeared (and icons are not loading too).

But now I'm running into this:

tried with and without vpn.

deleted app. reinstalled. synched all activities again.

all good. not sure what the issue was. network connections?
