Cannot get TakeOut MBOX imported with the folder structure

Hello,

Happy New Year to whole community.

I've been exporting using Google Takeout all mailbox contents to a MBOX file.
I am trying to import this and recreating the subfolders structure but I don't get any folder created.
Who can help?

I assume you have one or more mbox files from your Google takeout?
Did you try to import each individual mbox as an individual mbox?
Did that import your messages?
Note: Google does not export stuctured mboxes. It combines all folders in the mbox with tags indicating the source folder.
ImportExportTools NG currently cannot use the tags so all messages are imported to one Thunderbird folder.

I recently noted that is possible to import mbox folder with all the subfolders (mantaining the structure), only if you import the mbox folder in the "local folders" of Thunderbird. I don't know why and on what it depends...
