1. Open app
2. Use gesture or click 'back' button to exit the app

Expected behavior

Exit and back to home page.

Actual behavior

Thunderbird app view flash, and will never exit the app

Thanks for the update, but I want to say, it's working good in the last stable version on Google play store. I updated yesterday and the issue happened today. Odd.

I'm seeing this too, my version according to the app is 11.1. Can this fix be backported to stable release, or we just need to wait for beta to promote?
