For right-to-left languages and layouts, the dropdown menu panels open out of reach away from the item hovered:

Luckily the nav's not hover only, so clicking the menu item pins the panel open so the pointer can be moved to the other side and interacted with the dropdown items.

(It would seem as there's the clamp to not open the panels outside the viewport, it restricts the dropdowns on the right side if they exceed the viewport, whereas for RTL layouts this might need sticking to the left side.)
