Tianocore Wiki Changes

The wiki is currently located at https://github.com/tianocore/tianocore.github.io/wiki/EDK-II.

I am moving it to a new location:

• New location: https://www.tianocore.org/tianocore-wiki.github.io/
• GitHub repo: https://github.com/tianocore/tianocore-wiki.github.io

The previous wiki was maintained as an actual GitHub wiki. There were several problems that prevented the wiki from being more useful:

1. Lack of maintainership - Unclear who maintains the wiki
2. Lack of organization - Unclear where files go and where to find content
3. Lack of ownership - Unclear who edits the wiki and how
4. Lack of consistent review process - GitHub wikis don't allow PRs into the wiki. Patches on the mailing list rarely used.
5. Outdated content - Old, stale, and missing content and mix of mediawiki and incorrectly formatted markdown

This new location seeks to solve these problems by:

1. Maintainership - More clearly state how the community can work together to maintain the wiki.
2. Organization - Organize files hierarchically.
3. Ownership - Use CODEOWNERS to track maintainers at various levels of the wiki hierarchy.
4. Review process - Use normal GitHub pull requests to submit content and require a pull request for contributions.
5. Remove and update outdated content to focus the wiki on meaningful content.

The main changes done in the new wiki right now are:

• Supports PRs into the wiki now
• A lot of stale/broken content removed
• Files are organized in common categories
• Mediawiki and other non-markdown files removed
• MANY markdownlint violations fixed, some remain
• Conversion of many/most tables from HTML to markdown
• Standardization of file names to snake case
• Many broken links fixed, some remain
• Admonish and mermaid pre-processors added to the mdbook
  • Supports mermaid diagrams

I think enough is there to share the repo location and see if anyone is interested in either updating content directly relevant to you or fixing some remaining markdown issues, broken links, etc. Otherwise, I'll share more info when the work is closer to being completed.

Notes:

• Maintainers no longer have write access to the old location
• Maintainers are code owners for the new location

Contributors and maintainers are encouraged to take up ownership of specific areas and pages in the new wiki location.
