Vim bindings appear not to work in Firefox on Android #1372
Description
If I enable Vim bindings, simple commands like ggdShift-g (go to start of editor and delete to end of editor) don't do what I expect at all. I can't explain what happens, it's too confusing. For one thing, it appears to insert some characters, which should be entirely off the table.
System
- Firefox 139.0.3
- Samsung Galaxy S23 (SM-S911B/DS) running Android 15/One UI 7 (latest official OS version)
- I'm using the Heliboard open source keyboard to provide keycodes such as Esc and Ctrl for Vim purposes
Additional notes
These issues are not present in Obsidian, which at present I think uses CodeMirror 6 on Android to provide its Vim bindings.
