markdown tables ☹️

am i missing something or Jigsaw doesn't handle markdown tables out of the box?

something cute as:

cute column	other cute column
cutecute	kawai
haha	hihi

with Jigsaw it's rendered as really not cute ☹️

Can you be more specific? What exact template/markdown code are you using and what HTML does it render? Tables should work as far as I know.

using the docs template, if that's what you're asking. the markdown code is as follows:

| up a lot          | `u` or `control u` or `b` or `control b` or `shift space`

| to the bottom     | `G`
| to the most left  | `0`

and what HTML does it render? Tables should work as far as I know.

the HTML is actually correct. which is why it's fair. i was talking about the styling actually. i was expecting some styling à la GitHub out of the box. maybe my bad. sure i can style the whole thing with Tailwind but for whatever reason my brain thought initially that Jigsaw would render the tables nicely out of the box.

Gotcha, thanks. Yeah that's probably something we should style out of the box in the templates!

i think it does yeah. tbh i didn't think too much whether it's Jigsaw's responsibility or not to style the markdown. but just as a user i think most would expect to be able to do some hehe or haha or tables out of the box. especially since there's a docs template! cheers and thanks.
