How to create a collection that ends with .html, eg: /posts/post.html

How can I create a collection that ends with .html on the URL?

I tried this but the .HTML part is not considered:

I think what you're looking for here is disabling pretty URLs so that pages are all output as plain HTML files, instead of being nested and named index.html. Try running your build with --pretty=false and see if that works?

NO, Im not looking for that. Im trying to create a new website of an existing website and make sure that I don't lose the SEO on the important pages that finish with .HTML. So that, only a specific set of Jigsaw pages end with .HTML so that its backward compatible with the old site.

So essentially 'pretty' => false but for only one specific collection, not the whole site? Or is it more complicated than that?

That isn't currently possible as far as I know but seems totally reasonable and probably not super complicated to add.

yes, its reasonable and other static generators are adding it https://lume.land/plugins/redirects/ I think it should be similar to this, although I didn't try it yet

It feels like you need something like .htaccess rewrites. This would allow you to serve a page with a different URL than it is. This may not be an option depending on where you host the site.

An alternaitve would be to hook into the afterBuild event and move/rename the relevant files after they get built:
