Horn not connected properly with certain uppercase letters (variable font only)

The fonts below came from the latest release (v4.000).

In the .ttf variable font, the horn mark is not always connected to the base letters, specifically the uppercase letters O and U. This becomes noticeable from WGHT 400 to 900. Other axes do not make any difference; the bug only affects the WGHT axis.
The affected glyphs, namely Ơ Ỡ Ợ Ư Ứ Ừ Ử Ữ Ự, are mainly used in the Vietnamese language. For some reason, Ớ and Ờ are completely fine, even though they're in the same Unicode block as the affected ones.

Strangely enough, the static fonts do not inherit this bug.
