Hello @Tural. Wow, that would be a pretty big addition! Thank you for your contribution.

Let me review this with my team and see what’s our next step. We do have to consider the font’s use case for the TikTok app, and currently only Hebrew is supported by it, but it’s not necessarily a deal breaker. Either way, I see that you have made a fork, so I'll be looking into that one. (Things I’ll need to work on first: review drawing and production quality, consider font family structuring, research TikTok requirements, setup CLA.)

In the meantime, can you tell me more about your addition?

Hello @qinyiyao. Thanks for your message. Here’s a bit more detail on my contribution:

• Since the master file I worked on did not contain the Hebrew alphabet, I added it to ensure compatibility.
• Sheqel height corrected for better visual balance.
• Minor corrections to Serbian letters and to Aogonek/aogonek, Eogonek/eogonek for improved consistency.
• Added several extended Cyrillic characters to broaden language coverage.
• Implemented requested additions such as the № symbol and specific characters related to the Udmurt alphabet.
• Adjusted ascender and descender heights to avoid overlapping of letters — especially to improve the readability of Georgian characters.
• For Georgian, I included additional diacritic glyphs supporting Mkhedruli and Mtavruli (mainly used for the Georgian language), as well as Laz, Svan, and Mingrelian. Asomtavruli and Nuskhuri are not supported.

Additionally, I would like to ask you to revisit the details regarding axes. I couldn’t decide on the best way to approach that, so your feedback would be helpful.

@Tural After some initial review, we are planning to integrate your expansions directly into the font. These are underserved scripts that I think users can benefit from, which we wouldn't have covered otherwise. Once again, thank you for the contribution!

This might take a while, since we do need to prepare the downstream fork to a mergeable state and we'll need to test it in production to see how it performs, so it's not a guarantee if this will work, but I'd say we are in a good state to make this happen.

As for the axes, can you be more specific about what are you thinking?

I worked on the master file in FontLab, that is, I opened the Glyphs file there and added other scripts. When checking the variables, I saw that optical and normal weights worked there, but Condensed and Extended did not work. I fixed it as I knew how, but this could also be a mistake. If necessary, I can also add the .vfc file I worked on to my fork. Therefore, I wanted to inform you that after finishing my work, I converted it back to Glyphs format and aligned it with the master file you prepared. Since there’s a chance I may have made mistakes, I would kindly ask you to recheck this part.

This doesn't support any script, but I think your version might be Tiktok sans 5.0

Update: I had converted the glyphs file to static ttf and variable ttf using font creator in pc, sending it to my OneDrive, Installed it on my phone using zfont, and the result looks nice.
