Standalone version updater / autoupdate

Hi there.

I am using 2FAGuard and it is just perfect !! Thank you very much for the development of this software !

I would like to know if you can help me - if I use the standalone app installer for Windows (not from MS Store), will it auto-update to newer versions by default, or will I need to manually check, download and install updated versions from the website? (I don't see an update / auto update section in the options, so that is why I am curious).

After launching the app it will check for new updates (if there is an internet connection) and show an update screen after entering your password (or using another auth method), except when setting up the app for the first time. The latest version is currently v1.5.4.
