Docs and samples still reference tinymce-blazor.js which has been renamed to TinyMce.Blazor.lib.module.js

What is the current behavior?

Documentation still references _content/TinyMCE.Blazor/tinymce-blazor.js as the script location

Is actually now _content/TinyMCE.Blazor/TinyMce.Blazor.lib.module.js

Please provide the steps to reproduce and if possible a minimal demo of the problem by forking the repo and updating the demo app.

Follow the steps in the readme, or try and run a sample

Which versions of TinyMCE, and which browser / OS are affected by this issue? Did this work in previous versions of TinyMCE or tinymce-blazor?

Just as a test, I did something where I removed all references to loading any TinyMCE.Blazor javascript file in my index.html and the editor still works.

So at this point, is there still any reason at all to add any line to the Index.html file? Because it looks like the newer version of the editor self loads its required JavaScript file.

This is what worked for me under .net 9:

Self-Hosting TinyMCE under Blazor Web App (Server Interactive)

Add NuGet packages:

• TinyMCE version 8.*
• TinyMCE.Blazor version 2.2.1

These do include all required TinyMCE assets (tinymce.min.js, skins, plugins).

In App.razor:

• Add:
  <script type="module"> import '/_content/TinyMCE.Blazor/TinyMce.Blazor.lib.module.js'; </script>
• The leading slash is required.
• This is now a module, not just a .js script.

In Program.cs:

• Use app.MapStaticAssets(); to serve TinyMCE files from wwwroot/lib/tinymce.
  (.net9/10 feature to map static assets, adjust for earlier frameworks)
• If you have customized program.cs (or Antiforgery is missing), make sure to have app.UseAntiforgery(); before mapping Razor components.
• MapRazorComponents as usual.

Host the Editor component on a page:

• Add @rendermode InteractiveServer (if your app is not in InteractiveServer)

• Add @using TinyMCE.Blazor or fully qualify <TinyMCE.Blazor.Editor>.

• Use the component:
  <Editor ScriptSrc="/lib/tinymce/tinymce.min.js" LicenseKey="gpl" Conf="@editorConf" @bind-Value="content" />

  LicenseKey is needed. "gpl" for non-commercial self-hosting.
  Script source is needed. Leading / works for me.

• Dictionary for configuration should include at least { "base_url", "/lib/tinymce" }, to tell it explicitly where to get source files.
