Whenever an automatic theme update occurs, I lose my custom font settings

Every time, after an automatic update occurs, I have to re-set my custom preferences in the fonts section.

Mmmh, sorry for that. Am thinking of a pre-install script that checks your current settings which to preserve before installation.
P.S what font are you using?

It depends, I change according to the day, however always font with ligature (Iosevka, Fira-code, Ligconsolata, Jetbrains-mono, cascadia-code etc).
