release v0.5.0

I've released v0.5.0, the first release in almost a year. There are few changes since the last release on equinix-labs, just stuff that got merged and not released and some automated dependency updates.

I tried working with my previous employer to make maintenance work on their org but they were unable to set up a way for me to release. I'll maintain this fork going forward.
