Well, I know you will tell me a document can be at several places in the folder hierarchy and therefore my question may be dismissed easily. Nevertheless, I'm curious to know how you do and what mental/habit shift I need to perform.
I used to create a folder hierarchy and placed document in one of them.
In Affine, I can put a document in several folders.
When creating the document, the newly created document is "nowhere".
How can I "locate a document". This is something I often use in IDE when working on a file and want to see where it lives in the folder hierarchy. With a click on a button, the element is shown in the tree.
Is the hierarchy useless ? Are all the documents homeless ? Are the folder only ment to be dynamic folders grouping documents automatically based on rules ?
Secondly, I often drop quickly a note without having time to tag it or put it in the right folder.
This document is homeless.
How do you find those draft documents in order to polish them, put them at the right place with the right tag ?
