Does anyones figma tokens plugin completely reset when closing out?

What's been happening is that once I create my top-level sets, i.e "Base, Light, Dark", add my corresponding color styles or whatever to each set. It works great if I keep the plugin up and running.

But if I somehow close the plugin, close the file, restart Figma, the entire plugin resets. It removes my sets, my styles, etc.

The styles are still available in Figma, and I can import them back in, but I have to recreate the sets its painful and it feels like I have to do it everytime I close the plugin.

I have it synced with Github, and it works great once the plugin is performing and not resetting everything. I can push, pull changes, etc between Figma and Github

When it does reset, I can't pull my recent github (even after I recreate the corresponding sets), nothing imports/pull from my Github file.
