MacOS Catalina shuf error

running: catalina 10.15.7

./chimera.sh: line 71: shuf: command not found
░\e[0m ./chimera --file powershell.ps1 --all --output /tmp/payload.ps1

I have install the core utils
brew install coreutils

still giving me the error

sorry the brew install fixed the shuf issue but I am still getting this error
░\e[0m ./chimera --file powershell.ps1 --all --output /tmp/payload.ps1

Open a terminal and try:

whereis shuf

Or:

sudo find / -type f -name 'shuf' 2>/dev/null

Maybe try replacing the 5 occurrences of shuf with the full path specified by one of the above commands? (e.g., replace shuf with /Users/<path>/<to>/<your>/shuf)

sorry, after installing the brew install coreutils shuf works
I thikn its that the term color codes are not compatible with mac :(
but everythign works. I just wanted to put in this ticket so someone could updare the readme and but that they need
to install brew install coreutils to get the app working on mac, minus the color code error thing :)

Thanks. Newer versions of macOS with Zsh seem to handle ANSI color codes properly. If you're using Bash, I bet it's the version of echo on macOS, it doesn't have the -e option like Linux systems. Can you try replacing echo -e with printf? I'm curious to know if that'll work.

sed -i "s/echo -e/printf '%b\\\n'/g" /path/to/chimera.sh
