You can just click on the close button to pause, and then the play button to resume. However people will only see the pause background, not a frozen image of the shared content, but I think that's acceptable and not worth the effort to change it. |

Hello Tom,
I discovered RTS more or less by accident when I was looking for someting different. But maybe this is interesting for others as well. Therefore I post this as a feature request:
I often give training courses and share my screen in MS Teams. From time to time I need to trigger something in the background or do something else and I do not want to show this to the audience. Unfortunately I cannot share specific windows only by design of the software I'm demonstrating - all or nothing.
Before my company switched to MS Teams we used Zoom which has a nice feature to pause the screensharing. This means the audience can still see that something is shared but the content is frozen and they will not take note of any side activities. Like with beamers, where it was possible to freeze the last picture.
So my request is the following:
I'd like to request a functionality to freeze the picture which was shown last in RTS frame before clicking some kinde of "pause" button and RTS to keep distributing that frame to the screensharing program until "pause" is released again.
I hope that anybody else is interested in something like that and might support my request.
Thanks in advance.
Rgds, Frank
