Request: Please add a function to count page views for Commons images and categories of images

Hi, I really love your tool and use it a lot in my reporting as a Wikimedian in Residence. It really helps me organise the work and provide a centralised place for reporting. One thing that is missing for me is the ability to provide page view statistic for images, this would allow me to do all my reporting using your tool. Is this a realistic additional function that could be added?

I don't really have the bandwidth to work on this right now, but what might help you get started is a sample URL for media stats like https://wikimedia.org/api/rest_v1/metrics/mediarequests/per-file/all-referers/user/%2Fwikipedia%2Fen%2Ff%2Ff6%2FBerlin.jpeg/daily/2025021700/2025030900, which you can use to create a similar function like the existing WIKIPAGEVIEWS(). If you're into it, you could maybe even ask AI to create it and take it from there. I'd happily merge a PR.

Hi @tomayac thank you so much, I'm not a programmer so I don't know how to do this stuff but I'll try and find someone interested in working on it, I feel like it would be a useful feature for at least some of the users. Thanks again :)
