Please build fira code for alternative character variants.

Hi. I cloned the repository and I tried to build fira code for alternative character variants but I got so many errors in running ./script/bootstrap_linux.sh. I like alternative variants more than default variants. I am trying to do this mainly because I want to use it in my vscode terminal. vscode terminal does not recognize alternative variants when enabling it. Thank you so much. I am using ubuntu 20.04 lts.

Unfortunately, I can’t build it right now, might take some time — something is broken and needs troubleshooting. Will look into it later

This config works for me in terminal and normal apps.

I used this font config and It worked in both elementary os editor and terminal application But do you have any idea Why this is not working in vscode terminal?

You could try to use https://twardoch.github.io/fonttools-opentype-feature-freezer/ to “freeze” ssNN features
