How to run admin topgrade automatically when updating the application from scoop if the update fails and must use admin?

You currently cannot, scoop doesn't run using sudo by default.
It looks like scoop is supposed to install to your user directory. Why does the update fail? Is it because the apps are installed outside of your user folder, or because the app itself requires admin to finish installation?
