If the api the addon uses is offline there is no clear indicated that the api cant be reached. in my cases its a new install so nothing is cached I fell there should be a way to improve how this is displayed to the user. Im also guessing it would be a similar issue for a existing install there should be a indicator for outdated databases when it cant be reached. I also feel there should be a backup place the plugin can fetch the data from somewhere like github, gitlab or Codeberg.org?

There is an indicator in the icon, a red ! mark, but I agree - I will add better error handling :) thank you!
