Bug: `Git commit` Returns Cygwin-type path when Cygwin is not installed

I'm currently on Windows 11 and I do have MSYS2 installed but not Cygwin. Any help is appreciated!

This is probably a property of the repo itself. Check .git (if it's a file) and .git/config (if it's not).

It doesn't seem to be in the config file. Any other ideas?

Fugitive is getting the path from Git. Use git -c core.editor=echo commit to confirm. That's what you'll need to fix.

Sorry for taking so long to respond to this. With that command I'm just getting the typical git status output. Nothing really to signify any of the paths we mentioned.
