Can I ask you why it is required for you?

@tr3v3r I have two printers with the same name, which makes it difficult to differentiate between them when selecting a printer.

@BChandrakanth you can use target or mac address or by API and show on UI different name.

if(printer.target === "TCP: 188.10.12.12") {
  printerName = "Super Printer"
}

You can also try to find the way to change the device settings itself ( not via this lib ).
But you'll have to properly pass the name during calling connect function.
