Add prompt to indicate coordinate system used when creating point features from table

When importing tabular data with coordinates using GIS software, it would be very helpful if the system prompted users to indicate which coordinate system was used when the table was originally created. This would avoid projection errors and incorrect point placement, especially when the input coordinates are in projected systems like UTM rather than geographic coordinates. Is it possible to have this information?
