Feature Request: Run in background to open faster

I think it would make sense that the app should run in the background as then fast access is more guaranteed. I currently have the apps in my Launchpad sorted after categories (Files, Internet, Writing, Photos etc). These categories doesn't match exactly these from Apple. So for me it's important to open the Launchpad (or with Tahoe your app) quickly. Running in the background would allow that.

Yes. This is 1000% a plan for the future. I am going to update the ReadMe with an updated roadmap for features, but this IS something I want to do. Having the app run in the background with minimal resource usage and a menu bar utility to access settings is most likely the way things will go, and then simply clicking the LaunchBack app icon in the dock and/or using a keyboard shortcut (and hopefully someday a trackpad gesture like classic Launchpad, though this may require help from the BetterTouchTool developer) would open or close the grid. There's also currently a not-bug where opening an app from LaunchBack quits the app before any closing animation can play, but rather than fully patching it, I'm thinking about having a "disable animations" mode and borrowing from this code.
