Discourage modification of generated .man files

They are generated from the .md files on every release, so any changes to them would be overwritten. While us maintainers know not to touch these files, several contributors (understandably) did touch them in their PRs. Maybe we could move them to docs/man/autogenerated/, docs/man/do_not_touch or something like that? Or we could have a CI check? That would only catch it after the change was already made however.

Is this really a big problem? I can also see the logic in trying to keep the manpages and the .md files in lockstep in the repository.

Keeping them in lockstep is also fine, but in that case we should enforce that in CI IMHO.
