Make history the landing page for users

In our experience, majority of non-admin users are more concerned with the History page than the Dashboard, would it be possible to make History the landing page for non-admin users?

We could consider adding a feature to set a custom landing page per user in the future. For now, would it work to configure the page permissions so that users can only access the History page?

I think it would be fine to be able to define a default landing page per user type as well. In either case .. we would happily review any PR for such a feature.
