Can Trino server be embedded in a Java app?

Trino newcomer here ... apologies if this has been explained on the web site, but I could not find anything in the docs:
Can I embed Trino into my Java server app (kind of making it invisible) ?

I am less interested in client<-->trino server scenarios, which I see are well explained in the installation guide.
