Understanding the trino-thrift-testing-server

Hey team want to understand how is this trino-thrift-testing-server plugin used? When I run the trino server I see nothing on the port 7779 mentioned here in the config of the plugin.
Can someone please clarify its usage?

Also there is no class implementing io.trino.spi.Plugin in this package.
