INSERT in trino to cassandra with DECIMAL type

Good afternoon!
Can anyone help me with the error regarding the trino and cassandra connector?
When I do an INSERT in trino:

INSERT INTO cassandra.schema.table (id, report, date_from, avg)
VALUES (807113, 1, cast('2024-09-02' as date), 0);

I get an error in response:

[65536] Query failed (#20250801_125037_01241_rrtu8): Codec not found for requested operation: [DECIMAL <-> java. lang. Double]

because

from Cassandra to Trina
     When we do a select in trina ...
            DECIMAL turns into a DOUBLE
from trina to cassandra
    When we do Iseert in trine ..
            DECIMAL - there is no such conversion
            !!! But there is !!! --- DOUBLE DOUBLE

Bat I need to work specifically with the DECIMAL type in Cassandra.
